Polly was a professional ballet dancer with Northern Ballet Theatre before training as a Pilates teacher in 1999. After a knee injury threatened to end her career, intensive Pilates rehabilitation gave her new strength, confidence and another ten years of dancing professionally.
She trained in the Polestar Pilates method in New Zealand, teaching elite sportspeople including players from the All Blacks, Black Caps and Silver Ferns. Back in the UK, she continued her education with the Pilates Foundation and qualified in Gyrotonic.
Today Polly teaches the Arsenal FC First Team, working with the physio department on rehabilitation and injury prevention, and is a guest Pilates teacher for The Royal Ballet. She now brings more than 25 years of teaching experience to her new studio at Griffin Estate in Wiltshire.
Polly also offers private sessions from her studio in West London. Email Polly to enquire.
